Who are you?
I’m Brendon Connelly. I’ve worn hearing aids since 1969, and I’m a bilateral BAHA recipient. I run BatteryHeroes.com from a little town near Portland, Oregon, USA. You can reach me firstname.lastname@example.org.
Wait. What is this all about?
BatteryHeroes.com helps people hear better by delivering premium hearing aid batteries to their home each month. Our customers are wearers of hearing aids, bone anchored hearing devices, and cochlear implants, as well as their parents and caregivers.
Aren’t mercury-free batteries less powerful?
Nope! Your batteries will provide a long-lasting power profile with no discernable “power taper” at the end of their useful life. Put another way, your batteries will deliver nearly full power all the way to the bitter end.
How many packs do I need?
Batteries come in packs of six, so you’ll need to factor in the number of hearing aids in use, and typical battery life. For example, if a battery in one hearing aid lasts 7 days, then you’ll want one pack per hearing aid.
Do you deliver internationally?
BatteryHeroes.com currently delivers within the United States. Let us know if expansion to other countries would be helpful to you.
Is it a hassle to cancel service?
It only takes a couple of clicks to cancel service, and you don’t even need to talk to us. You’ll receive confirmation and receipt emails after signing up, and after each monthly charge to your card. Each email has a link to cancel service. Super easy, but we think you’re going to really like the experience of not worrying about batteries.
I need to get fewer batteries each month, but I don’t want to cancel service.
Since we only deliver full packs, after a few months of service some folks find themselves with more packs than they’ll use before getting more. In this case we’ve got a super-secret plan for one pack every other month. Just cancel your current plan, and sign up for the super-secret plan. Or contact us and we’ll do it for you. Easy peasy.
It seems like my batteries should be at my house by now. What’s up?
BatteryHeroes.com relies on USPS to get your hearing aid batteries to your house. Each month you’ll receive a shipping notification from USPS, with a tracking number via email. Double check your spam folder first, then contact us and we’ll check it out. Whatever happened, we’ll make sure you’ve got batteries!
I would like to get a candy bar with my batteries. Can you hook me up?
Maybe someday? 🙂
